Meet Derrike

Hey y’all! I’m Derrike, the daughter-in-law behind Southern Rumors & Co.

Back in 2012, I met Buffy, and from the very beginning, she welcomed me with open arms and loved me like one of her own. Over the years, our relationship has grown into something so much more than mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. She’s truly become a mom to me, and I’m incredibly thankful that we get to chase this dream together.

I’m married to my best friend, Landon, and am a proud girl mom to our sweet daughter, Ellie Monroe, who keeps life full of laughter and adventure. Family is everything to me, and my favorite moments are the simple ones spent together.

If you know me, you know I love all things Southern. Give me a great graphic tee, a cozy sweatshirt, a pair of boots, and a local boutique, and I’m one happy girl! I love decorating for every season, making memories with my family, and finding those special pieces that make you feel confident the moment you put them on.
